Dear BLS members,
After its previous success led by its founder Eileen Schofield and a pandemic induced break, we are pleased to say we are considering relaunching the Birmingham Law Society Choir!
All welcome! You need not have any previous experience or have been a previous member. If you enjoy singing socially and would be interested in joining the choir and expanding your network, please register your interest by emailing events@birminghamlawsociety.co.uk. In doing so, you are not committed to joining but we would love to gauge the level of interest amongst members. Previously the sessions were enjoyed by a very diverse range of BLS members and legal professionals and provided a great opportunity to enjoy singing whilst building your network, promoting your wellbeing, and reducing stress levels.
Previously the choir performed a wide range of repertoire at Birmingham Law Society events, local community concerts at Symphony Hal and even The Royal Albert Hall.
In order to relaunch the choir, we are seeking the sponsorship of a local firm(s) or business at an approximate cost of £3,500 per year. Sponsorship of the choir would provide entertainment opportunities for a sponsor’s events, advertisement across BLS members and contacts and social media and provide invaluable wellbeing support for employees.
