Come and join us for another exciting monthly lunch club with inspirational people! Enjoy a glass of wine on arrival and fabulous two course, fork buffet lunch prepared by Hotel du Vin’s amazing chef.

About Jan:
With over 25 years in "blue chip" corporate roles, and a lifelong passion for the arts, Jan Teo is Chief Executive of Birmingham Royal Ballet. Jan was appointed in 2015 having been a Board and Finance and General Purposes Committee member herself for the previous two years. Jan studied history at Cambridge University, and worked at Deutsche Bank as a Director and Chief Operating Officer for Service Centre Operations, Europe before taking up her current role. Whilst at Deutsche Bank Jan played significant roles in the annual Deutsche Bank Creative Awards, the Women in European diversity group, and in a programme of mentoring for disadvantaged youngsters. Jan is a Trustee Director of Birmingham Museums Trust, chaired the Finance and Performance Committee, is a Director of Birmingham Museums Trading Limited, and has been also a Governor of Elmhurst Ballet School. At the invitation of Sir Albert Bore, Jan led a workshop at the 2012 Birmingham Cultural Summit, has sat on Birmingham's Creative Partnership Board looking at alternative funding models for arts and creative businesses and is highly supportive of the creation of Culture Central which draws together the cultural institutions of Birmingham to enable a cohesive offer for the people of the city as funding for the arts landscape is in transition.

Jan draws on extensive commercial experience of planning and executing strategy having been formally a senior leader at Legal and General, Barclays Bank, RAC Motoring Services, Lex Transfleet and the Fraikin Group, working in Service and Business Transformation Director roles. Her recreations in Who's Who are described as "history, museums and galleries, ballet, playing the piano and collecting things I don't need."
