VWV secures 65 rankings in Legal 500 2027

VWV is proud to have secured 31 practice area rankings and 34 individual rankings in the Legal 500 2027 legal directory, while maintaining all seven top-tier rankings.

VWV has maintained top-tier rankings across seven practice areas and regions, and has received nine new or improved rankings. Notably, six individuals have been newly recognised as Leading Partners, while the Bristol-based Commercial Litigation team has entered the rankings for the first time, securing a Tier 3 ranking.

Ed Husband, Partner, leads the firm’s Bristol-based Commercial Litigation team. He has commented on the new ranking:

“We’ve had a really strong commercial litigation offering in the South West for many years led by three partners from Bristol. We continue to grow, acting on high quality matters for excellent clients, so it’s gratifying to see this recognition for the team.”

This year, VWV’s 34 individual rankings span 22 Leading Partners, seven Next Generation Partners and five Leading Associates, while Kathy Halliday and Jonathan Peacock continue to hold their places in the Hall of Fame.

We’re delighted to celebrate strong progression from across the firm. Leila Goodarzi, Daniel Hall and Tom Brett Young have all advanced from Next Generation Partner to Leading Partner, while Nathan Guest, Ed Husband and Paul Voller join the rankings as new Leading Partners.

In the Next Generation Partners category, Thomas Pollitt is newly recognised, and Kate Ward joins the Leading Associates for the first time.

These rankings reflect VWV’s continued commitment to excellence and the outstanding service clients expect from us. With a strong team of highly regarded professionals, we are looking forward to building on this success and delivering the same quality of support to our clients in the year ahead.
