Qualifying as a solicitor changed in 2026 but there's still government-funded routes to get there.
The funding rules shifted this year: the Level 7 Solicitor Apprenticeship is no longer funded for learners aged 22 or over at the start. But the door isn't closed, there's still a smarter, funded way in. In this 45-minute session we'll walk through every route still open to aspiring solicitors and how to pick the right one.
We'll discuss the best pathway for you and how it will help you reach solicitor status including:
- The Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship
- The Advanced Paralegal Apprenticeship
- The Chartered Legal Executive Apprenticeship
Who it's for? Aspiring solicitors, paralegals and legal staff who want a funded, debt-free route to qualification, and the employers who want to fund and retain them.
