Squire Patton Boggs Announces New Managing Partner in Birmingham

Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that Charlie Frost will become the next managing partner of the firm’s Birmingham office, with effect from 1 January 2021. He will succeed Nick Green, who has led the office for 10 years, and who continues to lead the Birmingham Real Estate Practice.

Mr. Frost joined the firm as a trainee solicitor over 20 years ago, and he has been a partner since 2008. Leader of the Birmingham Labour & Employment Practice since 2011, Mr. Frost advises on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law on behalf of employers. He is recognised as one of the leading employment law specialists in the region.

“It has been a great honour to serve as managing partner of the Birmingham office and to see the office grow and prosper, supporting clients on a regional, national and international stage,” commented Mr. Green. “Charlie has played a key role in the success of the office over many years and it is his energy, enthusiasm and leadership skills that make him the natural choice to lead the charge as we move into our next chapter, ably supported by our outstanding team in the city.”

Mr. Frost added: “Nick has led the Birmingham office with distinction for 10 years, during which time our business has gone from strength to strength. I am excited to serve as the next office managing partner and to take on the challenges that this role will bring. In such turbulent times, clients need our support now more than ever to navigate the impact of COVID-19 and Brexit on their businesses and there are real opportunities to build on our considerable achievements under Nick’s leadership and look positively to the future.”

Founded in 1870, the Birmingham office of Squire Patton Boggs has particular strength in advising businesses in the automotive, construction and real estate, hospitality and leisure sectors.
