The Sluggish economic growth and a fiscal gap estimated at up to £40bn – no wonder the Chancellor has signalled that taxes will rise (again) in the Autumn Budget.
Who knows what will be in the Chancellor’s final speech on 26 November. What can be predicted with more certainty is that there will be much to unpick once the speech has been delivered. So, join us for a panel discussion designed for professional advisers during which our experts will identify the Budget’s key takeaways and explore the practical implications for you and your clients.
The panel, David Denton, Head of Technical, Victoria Jones, Chartered Financial Planner and Tom Haydon, Investment Director at Quilter Cheviot, will reflect on the evolving financial landscape, share insights and discuss strategies to help you advise with confidence.
They will cover a range of topics including:
- The UK’s finances: assessing the UK’s fiscal health and the implications for business and investment
- Tax increases: potential changes including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and property taxes
- IHT & pensions: in scope from April 2027 – an update from the 2024 budget announcement
- Immediate response: practical strategies for professional advisers to consider now
Have a question? If you have any questions you’d like the panel to address, feel free to send them when confirming your attendance. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions during the event.
Arguably, in the UK today at least, there’s no bigger topic than the Autumn Budget 2025!
We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a morning filled with invaluable insights and the opportunity to network with fellow professionals.
