Empowering In-House Counsel: Mastering Influence and Mitigating Fraud with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Date: Thursday 20th November
Time: 5.15pm - 8.30pm
Venue: Squire Patton Boggs, 148 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2JR
Price: FREE for all in-house lawyers to attend
In-house legal teams are increasingly called upon to be strategic partners who navigate complex risks, drive influence across the business and stay ahead of technological disruption. This two-part event brings together critical insights and practical strategies to empower in-house legal professionals, followed by a networking session to connect, share insights and build relationships with peers across industries.
Session 1: AI in Fraud: Friend or Foe?
The first session will explore the evolving role of AI in fraud, both as a tool for deception and a means of defence. Through a live dialogue between a “fraudster” and a “firm,” participants will gain a deeper understanding of AI-driven threats, as well as how legal teams can respond with agility and foresight.
Session 2: Influence with Impact: Negotiation Strategies for In-House Legal Teams
In the second session delegates will learn how to influence outcomes, build empathy and drive strategic value in legal and commercial negotiations.
Tailored to in-house counsel, it promises to be an engaging and insightful event, and we hope to see you there.
This will be followed by canapés, drinks and networking with others from the Birmingham Law Society in-house lawyers network.
