Join us for the next meeting of the Birmingham Law Society COLP/COFA Forum for a

CHRISTMAS REGULATORY ROUND UP.

     

Chaired by Jayne Willetts, Solicitor Advocate and BLS Professional Regulation Committee Member and to be joined by Rebecca Atkinson, formerly General Counsel and COLP at Howard Kennedy LLP, now with her own specialist risk and compliance firm McArthur Atkinson. Topics to include:

  1. Social media – overlap between professional and private lives - update on SDT decisions – tips on internal policies

  2. Conduct of litigation – the Mazur case – where are we now? is there SRA guidance?


The sessions will be run under Chatham House rules so questions and frank discussion are encouraged.

Open to those serving as COLP; COFA; MLRO; MLCO; and those working in risk and compliance teams and/or senior management.

Very kindly hosted by Gateley. Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
