How to Get Started

How to Get Started on a Law Apprenticeship:

Beginning a law apprenticeship with Datalaw is a straightforward and fully supported process. From your first enquiry through to starting your training, our team will guide both the learner and employer every step of the way to ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience.

Your Step-by-Step Journey:

1. Register Your Interest
Complete our short law apprenticeship enquiry form and one of our Apprenticeship Coordinators will contact you to discuss your career goals, eligibility, and the most suitable programme for you.

2. Complete Your Enrolment
Our admissions team will guide you through the onboarding process, including eligibility checks and required documentation, making the process clear and simple.

3. Confirm Funding
The employer completes a short employer agreement and reserves apprenticeship funding through the government apprenticeship service. Non-levy employers typically contribute just 5% of the training cost.

4. Attend Your Induction
An induction meeting is held with the learner, employer, and tutor. During this session, the apprenticeship agreement and commitment statement are signed, and expectations are clearly set.

5. Access Your Learning Platform
Learners receive immediate access to their online learning portal, including study materials, recorded sessions, live workshops, and support resources.

6. Begin Your Training
Attend your first workshop and officially start your apprenticeship journey towards professional qualification and career progression.
