Join us for the next meeting of the Birmingham Law Society COLP/COFA Forum for a
SUMMER REGULATORY ROUND UP.
Chaired by Jayne Willetts, Solicitor Advocate and BLS Professional Regulation Committee Member.

With guest speaker Dr Benjamin Archer, Barrister, at 4 New Square Chambers, London focusing on AI and the professional risks. Dr Archer will discuss when it may be negligent for a professional to use or ignore AI and will cover supervision and privilege issues.

And to be joined by Rebecca Atkinson, formerly General Counsel and COLP at Howard Kennedy LLP, now with her own specialist risk and compliance firm McArthur Atkinson who will provide an update on recent regulatory developments including the Mazur and Dentons judgments and the latest SRA consultation on continuing competence.
The sessions will be run under the Chatham House Rule, so questions and frank discussion are encouraged.
Open to those serving as COLP; COFA; MLRO; MLCO; and those working in risk and compliance teams and/or senior management.
