Women in the legal profession navigate complex dynamics - balancing competition, collaboration, and cultural expectations. Stronger Together is a transformative three-part workshop series designed to foster genuine support among female lawyers, equipping them with the tools to build stronger relationships, overcome challenges, and create a culture of mentorship and advocacy. Through open dialogue, practical strategies, and shared experiences, this series will empower women to thrive together, not just as colleagues, but as allies.
Workshop 2: Overcoming Barriers - Navigating Challenges Together
What gets in the way of women truly supporting each other at work? In this second workshop, we’ll explore the common barriers; mistrust, conflict, and bias, that shape female relationships in law. Through honest dialogue and practical tools, we’ll look at how to move through these challenges and build deeper connections.
What you’ll gain:
- Insight into how trust, bias, and conflict impact relationships between women in legal workplaces.
- Tools to navigate disagreement, foster trust, and challenge limiting dynamics.
- Space to reflect, share, and strengthen your professional network.
Why it matters:
Research shows that women do better at work when they have real support from other women. But things like bias and conflict can quietly get in the way. Talking about these challenges openly helps build trust, stronger relationships, and a more supportive culture in the legal profession.
Join us for a conversation that goes beyond surface-level support and into the heart of what it means to stand with each other in a demanding profession. All discussions will follow the Chatham House Rule, so everyone can speak openly and honestly, knowing their words won’t be shared outside of the workshop.
This is a gathering created for women, those who identify as female in any way that is true for them. It’s a space for connection, reflection, and support, where we come together as we are, with no expectations, just openness.
