Virtual Networking Event: Disability in the Legal Profession - 28th October 2021

6 pm – 8 pm via Zoom

The Birmingham Law Society is hosting a virtual networking event to discuss disability in the legal profession.

You will hear from legal professionals about their own experiences with disability and the impact it has had on their career.

During the event there will be a period of networking in smaller groups to consider a range of topics affecting disabled legal professionals.

You will benefit from:

• Practical advice from legal professionals regarding their own experiences of disability
• Helpful ways to improve your mental health
• A networking session where you can speak to others regarding disability regarding issues around disability, including barriers to entering the legal profession and the impact of COVID-19

Our speakers include:
Sanjay Solanki (Penmans Solicitors LLP)
Melanie Lothbrok (Bevan Brittan LLP)

Upon registering, we invite all attendees to submit a question to be asked of the panel. Questions will be kept anonymous on the evening of the event.
