Most of the world has been outraged by the death of George Floyd. Sadly his death has highlighted ongoing injustices and inequalities that exist within communities.
We express our condolences and sympathy with his family. As well as condemning this senseless loss of life it is vital that we use this difficult time to reflect on the actions we must all take to tackle discrimination in this country because diversity is at the heart of what we do. As a Society we do not tolerate racism or inequality of any kind.
Birmingham Law Society will continue to champion diversity, inclusion and equality for the legal and wider community.
