Anthony Collins earns new Band 1 ranking with Chambers and Partners

Social purpose law firm, Anthony Collins, has been awarded a new Band 1 ranking from Chambers and Partners as part of its 2025 legal rankings.

The firm’s work under ‘Personal Injury: Mainly Claimant (Midlands)’ saw its ranking in this category move to the top spot.

Anthony Collins was also successful in maintaining its Band 1 status for its social housing and family and matrimonial work in the West Midlands, as well as its Midlands-based clinical negligence work.

During the financial year ending April 2024, the firm’s personal injury and clinical negligence team recovered £32.1 million of compensation for individuals, as reported in the 2024 Social Impact Report.

In the individual rankings, two of the firm’s partners, Chris Lloyd-Smith and Maria Ramon, were newly spotlighted for their contributions to family and matrimonial law (mainly alternative dispute resolution) in the West Midlands.

Six of Anthony Collins’ solicitors made their debut on the individuals rankings for 2025, bringing the firm’s total ranked lawyers to 28.

Peter Hubbard, managing partner at Anthony Collins said: “Our success is driven by our people’s dedication to having a positive impact on families, communities and society. I’d like to thank the Chambers and Partners panel for officially acknowledging the firm’s continued commitment to making a difference. Earning Band 1 recognition for personal injury in the Midlands is an incredible honour and is testament to the outstanding efforts of the team.”
