The Birmingham Law Society is once again celebrating excellence in the legal profession with its 2024 awards for trainee solicitors. These prestigious awards recognise trainees who have shown outstanding performance in either the Legal Practice Course (LPC) or the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).
The winners will be announced at the Society’s Annual General Meeting on Thursday, 26th September 2024—a key event in the Birmingham legal community’s calendar where the achievements of emerging legal talent will be celebrated.
Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply by Friday, 6th September 2024. Applications should be submitted via email to ashlee@birminghamlawsociety.co.uk. The Society has outlined specific criteria for applicants:
– Students must have passed the PgDL/GDL at the first attempt during the 2023 calendar year.
– Applicants must have a home address in the West Midlands and be either seeking or have secured a Training Contract within the region.
– Applications should be submitted in writing, including the candidate’s full name (including middle names), address, and contact telephone number for any enquiries.
