The Mindful Business Charter is hosting a series of meetings around the UK as part of the launch of the MBC’s statement of best practice guidelines on managing mental health in the workplace.
While these began simply focused on the leaders of the legal sector, it quickly became clear that the conversation needs to be wider – involving clients, suppliers and representatives from other sectors.
The MBC have already the guidelines in London, Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds and are opening the invitation to those in other sectors, especially those who have responsibility for the strategic implementation of workplace wellbeing initiatives in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
The event is being hosted by Pinsent Masons, at their offices at 55 Colmere Row, Birmingham, B3 2FG, on Wednesday 12th March 16:00-19:00. The formal part of the event will finish at 17.30 and then there is a networking reception for those who wish to stay and continue these important conversations about mental health in the legal profession.
The event is free to attend, is open to members and non-members of the MBC and will cover:
* How the guidelines came to be, and why
* What the guidelines are and what they mean for your organisation
* Discussions of firms that are already adapting them
* Discussions around the business case for adapting them
* there will also be an opportunity to network and discuss the guidelines over refreshments.
