The Stage international of the Paris Bar, a training programme for lawyers, will be held from 3rd October to 25th November.
After two years of interruption, the decision was taken with regret to cancel the previous editions due to the health crisis – the French-speaking version of this programme, dear to the Paris Bar which has been organising it for 30 years, will finally be relaunched at the end of the year.
The “Stage international” is a training course for young foreign lawyers who are fluent in French and wish to discover French and European law as well as the practice of the legal profession in France in an international environment.
During October, the selected colleagues receive instruction at the Ecole de Formation du Barreau (EFB) on the ethics, legal system and judicial procedures, given by high quality practitioners and teachers. This theoretical training is completed by practical experience in November in a Parisian law firm.
Beyond that, this programme, a real meeting between legal professionals wishing to compare their practices, offers the unique opportunity to create a lasting professional and friendly network between young colleagues from different backgrounds from around the world.
It lasts 8 weeks and will take place in 2022 from Monday 3rd October to Friday 25th November 2022.
They would be delighted to consider applications from colleagues registered with the bar who would be recommended for this programme and who meets the requirements, namely being under 40 years old and having a good knowledge of French.
The course is free of charge and is entirely paid for by the Paris Bar. However, it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that his/her travel and stay in Paris are fully covered.
Applications can be submitted until 24 June.
