An Employer’s Guide to Demystifying the SQE (Solicitors Qualifying Examination)

The purpose of the session is to:


  • outline the changes brought about by the SQE, as they relate to employers

  • explain what QWE is, who can confirm it and what they should be looking for

  • highlight some of the benefits the SQE brings, particularly for new entrants to the training market

  • explain how employers can take advantage of the apprenticeship levy

  • hear from employers as to how they have implemented/changed their recruitment strategy in response to the SQE
