become a trustee for lovebrum!

About LoveBrum

LoveBrum is a charity set up to ‘make Birmingham better’. It was created so that local people could get behind local projects in a simple way so that these benefits could be seen and felt. LoveBrum has a unique setup, as the decision to fund causes lies with its members.

Each month, members vote on which causes it would like to support. The advantages of this lie in the power delegated to its funders and the ability of the charity to profile city/regional projects that may otherwise not be recognised.

The Charity is still relatively new and requires a significant amount of resource for its day to day activities. We are keen to hear from prospective trustees with legal backgrounds, to complement the existing expertise on the Board.

family & divorce law
special report Thursday 23 february 2017

Family & Divorce Law requires a rather different and more sensitive approach to many other legal issues with an aggressive approach often prolonging and inflaming already difficult disputes such as Divorce, Matrimonial, Child Support, Domestic Violence, Child Custody, Civil Partnership Disputes etc.

This is where conciliation, negotiation, communication, collaborative law and mediation skills by expert Family & Divorce Lawyers are required and the needs of the whole family, particularly children, are dealt with sensitively.

For those individuals involved in any of these circumstances the stress factor can be immense so it is vital that they are able to make an informed choice when seeking professional legal help and advice and to this end The Birmingham Post will be publishing a special report focusing on this important subject and showcasing some of the top Family Law firms in The West Midlands including firms which are members of The Law Society Family Law Accreditation Scheme..

Booking and copy deadline is Mon 20 February 2017.
